About the Chart

The interactive chart/visual graph above displays in a data-driven format the comparison of the average number of sessions required for Hypnotherapy verses other psychological treatments across various common mental issues such as emotional, psychological, psychosomatic, and all other mental health issues habits and unwanted behaviours.

Eg From the chart you see that on average, Hypnotherapy for Anxiety is twice as effective as alternative therapeutic methods. Requiring only six sessions of Hypnotherapy verses twelve using other Psychological Treatments.

On average, Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy is two and a half times better than other Psychological Treatments. Three verses eight sessions.

Datasets:

Consequently there are two datasets, one for Hypnotherapy Sessions and one for Other Psychological Treatments sessions.

Only reputable sources studies and directories have been used. Typical averages found in Hypnotherapy literature.

Official guidelines from psychological associations. Aggregated data from top hypnotherapy sites, forums and communities related to mental health and therapy, testimonials on the websites of therapy providers and clinics, social media platforms where individuals share their personal experiences.

Anecdotal evidence.

Anecdotal evidence and reviews on the number of sessions typically required for treating specific mental issues, is taken from users comments, and feedback from various platforms.

The process

The process here was to obtain official unbiased and accurate statistics, analyse the data collected, then calculate the overall average number of sessions required for many of the most common physical emotional and mental problems which are a result of psychological, psychosomatic, and mental health states.

This gives a detailed breakdown and analysis of all the key issues, findings, and conclusions together with an in-depth analysis capturing the essence and nuances and simplifying all that into a rating number which appears on this graph.

Although some specific rare or unique issues may not have been covereed or studied in this research, the general pattern of averages of session numbers and success rates would be in the same range.

Not all Clients are the same

The study highlights the variation in the number of sessions required based on the severity and duration of the condition.

Severe or long-standing conditions may require more sessions, while mild or recent issues maybe addressed in fewer sessions.

It is also found that the appropriate number of sessions is essential for achieving optimal treatment outcomes.

The blue columns are Hypnotherapy. The lower the number on the bottom, means less Sessions.

I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist Dip.Clin.Hyp.
A Registered member of the Australian Hypnotherapists' Association (AHA).
A member and Accredited Hypnotherapist with the Guild of Australian Hypnotherapists (GoAH).   I am a recognised Medical Fund Provider for the funds which do cover Hypnotherapy. Check with your provider.
I have a Blue Card for working with children.
My Queensland Police - National Police Certificate is current.   I am also a Therapist, Councillor and use Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy and Advisor Techniques.
I am a Consultant and Hypnotist with over 55 years experience in these fields.   I am NOT a Psychologist.

All Sessions are Confidential in a comfortable private setting.   I can be your Go To person for anything troubling you.   Started first Hypnotherapy Clinic in Randwick Sydney 1967.
Moved to Gold Coast 1981.
Opened Sunnybank Hills Brisbane Clinic 2004 and still here today.   I provide Face to Face one on one and also recorded Hypnosis Sessions.

Your overall desire to change.
Your ability to absorb suggestions to your subconscious mind. Your personality type.
(Selective hearing for some people may be a block.)
Your ability to focus your mind and remember what you hear during your Session.
So there are many reasons why one person is successful and others are not.
We do not claim you will only need one Session.
We recommend at least three Sessions for most issues.
